Absolute pressure transmitter with remote diaphragm seal PAD100. Because the reference is a sealed vacuum, an absolute transmitter reports true pressure rather than pressure-above-ambient — which is what vacuum and condenser duty require. On a capillary, the remote seal puts distance between the transmitter and process heat, and lets the instrument sit where it can be read and serviced. The P-series 100 is ABB's value tier — a compact two-wire instrument for the loops a plant has hundreds of.
